you know the way he handled it was pretty crappy but why the hate outside of Cleveland? Dude is a free agent, and wants to win a championship. Everyone always bitches about superstars not caring about winning, and only caring about money, well he gave up 30 million for this. Thats alot of money even for LeBron. He should have handled it differently, other than that, i don't think what he did warrants hate outside of Ohio. I wouldn't have done it, i would have stayed in Cleveland, but that's just me.

The way this city is reacting, I don't feel sorry for that sh!t town at all. I hope they never win a title in any sport.

They should be pissed at Gilbert instead. He did NOTHING to give LeBron help. Did you think LeBron was gonna stay there with the same crew of misfits while other teams in the east were getting better?

Cleveland fans set themselves up. Trying to make LeBron feel bad into staying in Cleveland could have been the worst decision of his life if he decided based on that. Good for him that he was able to move forward out of that dump and their unreasonable fans

Was he not a "Free Agent?" Did he not serve his seven year contract? When many of these spoiled athletics throw hissy fits trying to get traded while under contract, he simply chose to go somewhere else.

Way to late for the high road Cleveland.

Thank you! Finally, somebody with some sense. I am so sick of hearing everyone whine about LeBron. If he would have demanded an outrageous salary to stay in Cleveland, everyone would be claiming he only cares about money. They would have said he was too egotistical to share the ball/spotlight with anyone else.

I don't think LeBron wanted to leave Cleveland, but they made no effort to surround him with any talent. Had he stayed in Cleveland he would have no chance, with his current teammates, to beat any of the new super teams being formed.

Yep, that is what we are seeing across the mainstream and it comes with the territory when you are a superstar. If he wins some Championships everyone will forget about it like with Jordan when he was constantly criticized for his abrasive behavior toward anyone in his way like ball boys, etc... You can see the same pattern with most superstars.
