Gumps ain't the only team we are losing recruits too, but man they sure flip when we think we got them...I am not saying we are suffering at recruiting, but if we can't knock the taste out of bama's mouth every once in a while, we are gonna lose depth. Look great on the surface, but not good enough on depth.

Them lines homie. Usually where it starts and ends, the trenches. That's how we lose to bammer 6 fuggin straight. If you notice, bammer without them nasty bastards on the lines ain't the world beaters they are. If we were just a 7 on 7 team playing with skill positions alone, we got em every year or the other. It's the lines that set bammer apart and we have not been able to compete with that for damn near 7 years. They lock and load every snap and that is something we gotta keep up on or they run away with it in the second half. That is something that is starting to come together, but we need Christmas... twice on the lines to give us just a game with them bastards. We don't need to win the natty to secure recruits, we need to beat the devil himself.

Every team in the nation wants to beat bama. Every fan with exception of the many in t-town wants US to beat them because it is us and the barn that have that opportunity annually to do so. The bama fatigue is in overload and until we can beat them, we are gonna lose recruits to them or someone else who would prefer not losing to them, annually.

Don't get you on this. They are grabbing a couple out of Louisiana every year but they are doing the same thing in most every SEC state. Would you change our D line, LB's and DB's for theirs right now? I wouldn't. Saban wanted Chassion, Larwrence, Shelvin and Alexander as far as our front line. We are losing to Bama because of offense not defense.

C'mon man, every offensive line that has faced bammer 6 years running now, likely 7 with this year's line. If we can't push them there with the 1's, the 2's and 3's will not be standing on our sidelines.

Of course if you are Miles and just keeps running at a brick wall. Hence the need for a dynamic passing offense relying on keeping them from stacking the line 50/50 run pass. Ole Miss beat them so did Utah in the Sugar Bowl with that type offense. As I remember Ohio State beat them with a 50/50 pass run offense.

It may have been 50/50 in that Ohio State game (I'm not sure) but all I remember is Elliot running it right up Alabama's ass crack!

Yes Elliot did run it up their butts but that's because Bama had to respect the pass. You know the pass; something that was non-existent except for every now and then under Doofus.

You really do argue like taint.

For 6 seasons now, every QB we have had in the gump game has ran for their GD lives. Catch me, fuck me has been our offensive philosophy. Remember Mett picking himself up off the turf? Had we, at any point over the last 6 seasons had an offensive line that could push the gumps for 4 quarters, we wouldn't be 0-6, would we? You can't have a balanced offense against them without protection to execute. Running into a wall, dropped passes, throwing the ball away, line dicipline, 3 and outs....all this from a weak line.
