    Aranda has no experience as a HC whereas Oeaux is 21-7 as a head coach. Oeaux needs 4 years like other new HC's get to recruit his own players to be fairly judged.

    I don't think that's the way it works anymore,.. O will be expected to deliver big-time next year, same will be expected of Oregon's Cristoball in his 2nd season,.. I think the new norm is, show. clear progress your second year or you're on the hotseat

    That's too bad if that's the case. In O's case he won 9 games last year for him to be on the hotseat this year is just wrong. He wins 8 or 9 this year with this schedule that would be progress in my view. Needs this and next year to be fully judged faiely unless we are going 6-6 or 7-5 the next 2 years.

    Will be an interesting year to say the least, good luck to your Ducks BTW.

    If things don’t work out with O and Aranda wants the gig I’d be fine with it. Defensive genius and seems like the type who would bring in a great offensive mind as well.

    It’s 100% the case. Look around you, it’s win or you’re out. That’s not just LSU, that’s everywhere. He will get for 4 years as long as he is not going the wrong direction.

    Especially with today’s media, they will heat his seat up real quick!

    I think O's safe this year with 8 wins, if it looks like shit's going downhill though, the wolves are gonna howl. Excited about seeing LSU vs Miami, I'm hoping to become a real Tiger fan this year.

    How do you figure 21-7? He is 15-6 at LSU. He is 6-2 at USC. He is 10-25 at Ole Miss. Overall 31-33.
