Not that it matters at all, but I was sure LSU wouldve jumped Missouri and garnered a first place vote or two.
It's not like we beat a top ten team, with one of the best defenses in the country, on the road. Jeez people...:hihi:
In the AP, LSU leaped Missouri... LSU at #5 -- it was close, LSU had 1,363 pts to Mizzou's 1,360. Bama went from #9/#13 to #8/#10 Georgia still at #3 in both. Florida still at #4 in both. Vandy at #21/#25. How about little Vandy? Auburn falls to #15/#16. The only one-loss team ahead of them is Ohio State at #13/#14. That's just wrong that Auburn fell below Ohio State. The top 10 of both polls are made up of 4 SEC teams, 4 Big 12 teams, one Big Ten team, and one Pac-10 team. As for Southern Cal, they retained all the first place votes they soaked up after beating OSU at home... losing only one single little first place vote to Oklahoma in the new coaches poll. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/rankingsindex
The only reason LSU doesn't jump Missouri in this weeks pole was Auburns poor outing last weekend. IMO, had AU beat down Miss St, LSU is #5. No problem....we are right where we need to be and Im fine with #6. Just gotta take care of business the rest of the way.
