Agreed b/c even if the D knows the play, the O can make a play based on all 11 men doing their damn job.
My guess is the Tigers come in more focused and ready to play this week. If that happens, I don't think Florida has the kind of depth we have across the board and that will be the difference. It will be a very close game most of the way but our Tigers will own the 4th quarter. I'm gonna say... LSU 24 Florida 14
LSU will come out ready to prove the world wrong. Watch for JC Copeland to be extremely vocal pre game. On defense contain Driskell. He can run, and our linebackers need to step up and tackle, this is going to be where we miss Tahj Jones. All in all, I think this is the game where we limit turnovers, and come out looking sharp.
Truer words have never been spoken. Think back to 2007. There has never been an offense that more predictable than our offense that year. Gary Danielson is in the booth calling the plays before they even happened, everybody in the stadium knew what was coming on some plays just based on the formations... but it didn't matter. Our O lined up, everybody handled their assignments and the plays worked.
1. Even if LSU only had 3 plays in it's play book, it would be unlikely anyone could predict which of the 3 plays would be called next 2. Today, LSU was wildly unpredictable, which is good in the sense it keeps our opponents more on their toes, but not good in the sense that when it doesn't work, it looks like we're trying to get too cute. I was stunned we passed so much, ...since Florida has a well-tested elite pass defense, while their run D has been untested... And since LSU's running game is our bread and butter Florida, on the other hand, started getting fairly predictable in the second half, in the sense they kept running right at us with the same RB they used all game, abusing our run D (who had another poor game, like they did vs Idaho, and like they did for a good stretch of the 2nd half v NT)
