I am considered a sunshine pumper, which I consider a compliment. However, I must warn all of you to only read this on a full stomach. I took 4 Advil for my back this morning not realizing I would need them more for my now throbbing head:

On his plan for the quarterbacks against Florida and on how he feels the negative comments about him this past weekend affect his ability to effectively manage the program…
“We have a week to determine who starts and who doesn’t. I think that both will play certainly in a like situation and in a like way that they were played in the last game. I can’t really comment on what speculation is on the perimeter. It’s not me. I don’t operate that way. The only thing I can tell you is I criticize and critique everything that goes on in those games from player to coach, including myself. The only thing I can tell you is we are working on the corrections, and they are ones that can be corrected.”

My favorite, "we are working on corrections, and they are ones that can be corrected." No chit, that's why its a correction.

He is no word smith for sure, but if we can find a way to turn the offense around and keep winning......I don't care if he talks like rain man.

He should consider being a complete prick and give one word answers or very short statements. He gets in trouble when he expands......TMI. He simply could have answered, "We will make that determination on Friday."

Like the saying goes, "Better to let someone think you are an idiot rather than opening your mouth and proving them correct."

Regardless, Now back to pumping.....LSU 24 UF 21

Translation: I'm not going to name a starter. Let Meyer figure it out.

This. Plus, "Both guys will play". "We have certain things we like to do with 1 and other things we like to do with the other."

Let's just hope that Lee plays most of the game, however.

Oh, I like the strategy (please be strategy, please be strategy, please be strategy) just wish he would quit bumbling and stumbling and keep it simple.
I keep waiting for a Saturday Night Live skit with Ferrel back playing Miles.....now that would be funny.

He would get blasted for giving one word answers for not answering the questions. It should be no suprise that he doesn't really answer the questions by now. The media does not have Miles best interest at heart.

Basically the disconnect with Miles is fueled by his relationship with the media. The media wants to annoint the winners and losers based on their criteria, only. The problem Miles has is he doesn't look like their poster boy winner. His hat was the first thing, then his speaking skills or lack thereof. Now he has pulled out another win, and admittedly he got lucky as hell this time.

The problem is he is still a successful coach despite his hat and despite his speaking skills and despite his ability to butcher clock management.

But he recruits like hell, wins more often than not and honestly he is right about his assessment. LSU's problems are correctable.

I think a lot of the issue stems from Miles overriding obsession with loyalty. That must be why he never blasted the Co-Defensive Coordinators during the year and stuck with Lee that year til the bitter end. It must be why he tried to stick with JJ as long as he did. He is loyal to a fault but he does instill loyalty in his players and his coaches. He has some great coaches on the staff and a lot of great players and they all stick by him. That is the way he runs his operation and for the most part, it works.

We could have ruthless cutthroat like Jimmy Johnson or Nick Saban where players and coaches are sacrificed to the god of the "Process" every season but all things being equal, I would rather play and work for a guy like Les.

If he can just beat that sonofabitch Saban and get this team over the hump and into the SEC Championship game all will be forgiven.

JL should start and get most of the snaps and if they want to run some kind of option let RS run it.

Let's just go with a 2 QB system like UF is now employing.
