I know it's been covered. I've seen links to the tie-breakers. A few years ago, islstl laid it all out when LSU was in the hunt for the MNC game berth. Are LSU's chances better now of getting to the SECCG than they were of getting to the MNC game at the same point in the season in 03? Are they better than were the chances of getting to the Final Four in 06? Just hoping someone can summarize the facts, assuming LSU can win out.
Auburn has to lose two more and we win out. That will get us to the SECCG. Arkansas has to lose two games.
I think to assume LSU will win out is assuming a lot considering how they have played against reputable teams.
i think we had the same one last year, and we did it but we have to win out, auburn has to lose once more, and arkansas has to lose once before they play us, and also lose when they play us... We also have to have a higher bcs rank than all the parties involved if it's a 3 way tie like this
i hope you enjoyed our participation in the seccg game last season... les miles is a poor man's larry coker.. difference being coker has a MNC to show for butch davis' talent..
we lose in a 3 way tie to Auburn due to head to head competition, assuming Arkansas would be the odd team out of the mix due to lowest BCS ranking (which is the tie-breaker that would be used)...then Auburn's victory over LSU gets them in this means Auburn has to lose twice more, and Arkansas once more (besides LSU) in the SEC, so that there would be only a tie between Ark and LSU IF Auburn should finish last of the 3 teams involved in the BCS standings at years end (basically impossible since Arkansas would be losing its last game of the regular season, and Auburn's last loss potentially is the week before), then Auburn only has to lose once more and Arkansas once more (besides LSU's loss) Hope that clears it up FINAL ANSWER: Auburn 2 more losses Arkansas 1 more loss besides LSU
can you coach the team to a SEC West title? How bout you go discuss that on that joke of a board you created... There should be a lot of people willing to talk about it with you there, right?
