Can someone in the know give a quick run-down (for dummys like me) of what needs to happen for the Saints to keep moving towards a SB appearance? I've read different things but its a little confusing. I'm pretty sure they've gotta win 3 on the road now. I don't really keep track of other teams, so I guess I am wondering which teams are in it and which ones we would prefer to see lose.

The Saints cannot host a playoff game. If they beat Philly Saturday, they will play at Seattle on Saturday, Jan. 11. If they win that, they play the winner of Carolina and SF or GB, again on the road.

Exactly. Winning 3 games on the road for this Saints team is next to impossible. Especially if they have to go to Green Bay.

And 4 if you count the horrible conditions of the SB.

The Super Bowl that year was in Feb, so technically, it was winter, but given the game was in Miami and temps were in the 70s, I don't think that counts.

2006 at the Giants. December 24th.

It was probably our signature win for the season, giving us our push in the playoffs and secured us a #2 seed.

    It can be done.
