I think everybody agrees. It's just that the Jefferson problem is the easiest to fix. It's why teams have multiple quarterbacks.

Or would you consider for a moment that he is A VERY GOOD ACTOR ansd still has you fooled because you WANT to believe this? We all hope that is true but how long do we dress the pig in pearls and pretend it is cinderella?

Well yeah it is the easiest thing to do..... I wont go so far as to say ""fix" but try something different. Lee is certainly not a QB we can hang our hat on ( yet maybe? )

As long as they dont "think" they now have peyton manning and abandon the run. Don't laugh, with this coaching staff it is not only possible it is likely.

Hell here we all are saying surely they will play Lee now but we dont even know that is the case yet. :rolleye33:

I don't think nor pretend the pig is Cinderella. I said several times he needs to quit trying to put lipstick on a pig. But no, I think he's a TERRIBLE actor. I think it IS an act he tries to put on in front of the media/fans, and he's so terrible at it that it backfires on him.

If Lee isn't the LSU QB after this shi t, then I will be MUCH more on your side next Saturday night. Hell, I barely made it thru LAST night with JJ being allowed back on the field...especially the last couple of plays. Like I said, I am almost POSITIVE that was Crowton's idea, but if he let's Crowton make that decision again, fug em.

Ive thought several times that this coaching staff would pull a player and put another in only to find out next week that it is status quo. Dont be suprised if you see JJ under center. and sadly that doesnt shock me as bad as seeing Miles on the sideline and Crowton in the box.

If I had a choice tween JJ going or Mile and Crowton, Id keep JJ. honestly. He may not be very good but I know he will be graduating next yr and hopefully we can recruit some one in the off season. I think we've seen his worst play and I am not sure we've seen the worst Crowton can do yet.

Also dont be supirised if Lee doesnt wilt like he did after the auburn game when he was a Hero then went to zero. he doesnt really have that much more time under his belt other than practice. AND If I am right Gary C hasnt done a dahm thing to help him because he doesnt know how.

When Coach Fudd initially blamed Jefferson last year, that was the start of him losing respect from players. I had a conversation with a top college QB recruit and he said that he'd never play for a coach who blames his players.

I can't think of any college program that has sunk so low and out of control that a "players only" meeting is called. Jeez, what is this a bad Hollywood movie? Didnt' I see this in Friday Nights Lights?

Even when Michigan or UCLA sunk it's programs, there wasn't a "player's only" meeting.

This players only meeting isn't a good thing for an elite program and maybe the players will band together and play with pride, despite the Head Coach's tired banter of "they...they...they...."

    I disagree with you.

The players aren't giving up on another 20 year old just trying to play football. I think most remember Elmer throwing Jefferson under the bus last year and realize that complete panic on the sidelines is not the leadership our elite program deserves.

They didn't ask Jefferson not to come to the meeting - they told Miles and Crowton to shove it.

The players have given up on Miles.

When a coach blames a player for a loss and then says "they..they...they" - that coach is a RAT.

Even with a 5 - 0 record, we are the laughing stock of the nation.

This, and to those that think this is a bad sign you should look at how many times this happens in sports. The outcome can be pretty positive. This is the team holding the team accountable for their actions. Stepping up and saying, "if we want it all, it starts with us, we have to play the way we are taught, and we have to play as a team".

Dude, did you really ask that? Think for a second, now reread what you wrote. Now onto my answer, Meyer admitted his poor play calling because he calls the plays. Now, how can miles admit to something he doesnt do. Crowton calls his plays not miles. If Les came out and said that crowton had poor play calling, then every would say that he was throwing gary under the bus. That is something Miles doesnt do.
