Has anyone noticed that over the past two seasons, the only offensive player to have gotten better is Brandon Lafell? And this is only because he's not dropping the ball as much anymore.

Holliday is the same or worse. Scott is the same or worse. All the O-Line are the same or worse. Dickson is the same or worse. Jefferson is the same or worse. Keiland is flat-out worse.

Toliver may have improved a tad, but he is going to waste.

    How come?

While I agree as a team we havent improved. I also agree overall we havent seen much improvement over the last two years. The kids arent being coached up at all.

I disagree though on LaFell, Scott, Williams, and Dickson. Those kids are all damn good and do well when given opportunities. I wouldnt trade them for any other teams players. Toliver has improved in some ways. He just needs to work on his hands and routes more. Great after the catch.

The OL and QB is the biggest holes on the team right now.

Chavis has the D steadily improving. The DL has to step up and tackling could sure up but overall we couldnt ask for more from our D. Those guys play with fire and intensity.

The coaches on O and players need to follow suit and find some balls.

I didn't say these players weren't good. I just said they haven't got any better. For example, Tim Tebow was good as a freshman. He's gotten a lot better since then, though. :)

I see what your saying but I disagree. They are the only ones on O I see with fire and passion. With how pathetic our OL and QB have been you cant really see if theyve progressed or not. Add to that the crappy and predictable play calling.

At the risk of being labled a "Bobby Bummer". I agree with you on this obsevation. How come? it comes down to coaching. I posted in another tread that I was not surprised at the play of our O in last nights game based on how they have played from game one this year. The tigers O is 100th in the nation and FLA D is #1 in the nation. Also it appeard to me that FLA palyed flat last night on O. Oh well now I am a downer.

The receivers can't get better if the quarterback doesn't throw them the ball. Lee averaged 243 yards a game last year, Jefferson is averaging 169. The running backs can't get better if the defenses don't respect the passing game and stack the run. There is not much excuse for the offensive line to be playing so poorly, though.

Well said. When LaFell, Dickson, and Toliver have been hit in stride theyve done well. When given a hole Scott and Willams have done well. Those positions require a lot of help to look good. Im a huge fan of Scott, he is a workhorse back. He moves piles when given an opportunity. Sadly they are few and far between.
