Apparently KW has a family to support and may leave to get more touches and therefore upgrade his draft status.

he is a junior right?? so he would have to sit out his senior year....unless he were to transfer DIIA. He'd do better with his draft status staying at LSU IMO

Just internet rumors but possible. I guess he feels he needs more touches to raise his status and Div II won't hurt him. Though I think the visibility he gets at LSU would make more of a difference. I hope he stays, as I was impressed with his efforts in the 2nd half of the season.

Keiland couldn't transfer to a D1 school, it would have to be DII. I don't think he's too big on competition, and he probably feels like he's being underutilized by the staff. If he goes DII it will be to get more snaps to showcase himself for the NFL.

He could just declare early for the NFL though, and of course he might come back for his Sr year.

I guess "internet rumor" is the only way to describe it, but...

Williams stands a good chance to declare for the draft, otherwise he will stay at LSU.

It comes down to what he thinks is going to be best for his draft stock, and whether it will be worth playing college ball another year.

He could get more touches & play in a non power running system, or he could stay at LSU & perform in limited situations with limited carries. Which will get him drafted higher?

Will either one get him drafted substantially higher than he could go right now?

IMO, looking at it like that, his best bet is to go ahead & declare early for the draft honestly...

Lee, Francois (safety) and Clemons are the most likely. I would add Hatch to that list as well.

We may have a surprise thrown in there, but I can't elaborate. If it pans out, it will be known very soon.

Hatch was a walk-on transfer from Harvard. I'm pretty sure he never expected to start, and came here to learn to be a coach. I'd be shocked if he transferred.
