Play clock changing from 25 to 40 seconds like in the NFL?

    ...? I could be wrong, but I do not think that is changing.

    If it works like the NFL thats how it is. The clock doesn't stop in between plays unless there is a penalty or out of bounds. That sounds about like how its going to work, I don't see them changing one clock ruling and leaving the other

    They are leaving the "clock stops on first down" rule in place. They only changed the play clock from 25 to 40.

    sounds good to me, that would be my only complaint. It just doesn't make since though if their plan was to shorten games, but didn't change that aspect. Also, does the play clock start right after the play ends but the game clock stops on a first down?

    Just sounds a lil too complicated to me, I think they put the best football product on the field already and should just leave well enough alone. next they'll be putting up walls and shortening the field to 50 yards so they can put more seats in the stadiums. Too much tweaking will eventually weaken the product. How about we stop worrying about time/ money and worry about making a better product. The time on TV will be the same for us, just more commercials.
