Looks like you are getting out voted on this one, Izzy. Gotta take off those Crowton glasses, my friend, and see the light. Clearly, CLM made comments that indicated things would be different this week b/c he planned to be in more control this week, and he was. That is why the offense looked so much better, CLM took more control, which does not bode well for CGC, btw. There were no side line changes at the line of scrimmage, and very little option. Do you think those were changes CGC made? Do you really think CLM would commit to those choices to begin with, if it were not the OC coming up with it and recommending it? CLM saw those type of decisions/commitments were hindering our offense and changed it up. No way the reverse is true; it just doesn't make sense.
y'all have missed the main reason for the O looking better. its not playcalling. its 3rd down conversions. granted that could have something to do with playcalling on 3rd downs, but 7 for 16 against AU is much better than 2 for 12 against UF or 2 for 15 against MissSt. more success on 3rd downs = more plays = more chances to run plays that we fans want.
That's just it, the play calling before didn't allow us to be consistant at 3rd and short situations. The play calling in the AU game seemed more fluid and crisp.
Like you? John, look, I don't come here to pick fights and I'm not sure why you find the need to quote everyone and laugh but when YOU posted the gems below on another LSU forum I think it becomes fair play. I stumbled across these and felt, since you play the holier than thou card here with everyone that they should see for themselves so maybe you'd pipe down. http://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/messagetopic.asp?sp=15532013&b=1&s=1&p=15527453 http://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/messagetopic.asp?sp=15535635&b=1&s=1&p=15527453 http://www.tigerdroppings.com/rant/messagetopic.asp?sp=15949867&b=1&s=1&p=15945559
