See. Miles and Crowton finally found Tigerforums on the web and were able to see what they were doing wrong. It's all right here. This place is a coaches how to guide.
The only one that really stood out to me was calling on the QB twice in a row on the first and goal possession then, again, Scott wasn't an automatic 3 yards a touch last night either so we may have had as good a chance with JJ but I wouldn't have run him up the middle.
Fans complain that the play calling is too predictable then he tries something totally whack and fans don't understand how he can be so unpredictable.
Yeah, and his first throw was almost a pick-6. I can't imagine how the crowd would have reacted to that. I agree, though, everything we have been hoping to see, we finally saw. I was very happy with the game plan last night. I REALLY wish we hadn't given up that last TD, though.
Everyone knew that was a meaningless TD. I see that as another important reminder/lesson to learn from, even to the last seconds of the game.
Lee was put into a really crappy position. He had to come in backed up to the goal line and execute a very dangerous play call.
Maybe I missed it but did we run the option to the short side only once? I liked the way that we sent to the short passing game once we couldn't establish the run. Good chance Tolliver will be open and can get at least five pretty regularly. He's such a big target, one on one thats difficult to defend.
