I am thankful for CNS in getting our program a Natl. Championship. Although everyone is entitled to their opinion, I am starting to get a feeling that his reputation is slowly dwindling..... Plaxico Burress rips Nick Saban in new book :geauxtige:geauxtige :geauxtige:geauxtige
I do not consider a coach who has not shown he can keep his team together at Bama all that powerful. When I think of someone on the cover of Forbes, it is usually a guy who is a CEO and has all the control and power down to a T. But he does have money...
Calling Saban the "most powerful coach in sports" is not a stretch albeit subjective. If you put it in relative terms he can do virtually anything at Bama right now without objection. He certainly has more control of a big time program than most other coaches do and put in those terms Forbes is correct.
I don't think there was any news for an LSU fan or anyone who has been around Saban. I don't know if he will be a successful "CEO" at Bama but he is on the same course that he took at Michigan State and LSU. Recruit , recruit, recruit, and try to keep complete control of the program. There should be some great games between us and Bama in the near future.
