Pittsburgh not smart in clock management

    Pitt with the ball, 2nd and 2 from the Cincy 5 yard line. 1 minute 45 seconds remaining.
    2 timeouts for Cincy.

    I knew that Cincy would just do the 'ole into the endzone so they could get the ball back with as much time on the clock. They did just that and Pitt went in for the score.

    I would have told my running back to be aware of that and to just fall down at the 1 yard line.

    That would have forced the 2nd timeout by Cincy. Then the 3rd timeout would be called after the 1st down play. The 2nd and 3rd down kneel downs would run the clock down to under 30 seconds. You kick the game winning FG and leave most likely less than 15 seconds to go after the kickoff return.

    That's just the way I think.
