Doesn't mean that pittsburg is in trouble, but it does mean there will be one hell of a good offensive lineman available next year. I can understand letting an aging overpriced free agent go but Faneca is still dominating the line of scrimmage and showing no signs of slowing down. Bad move by the steelers if you ask me, but I have always hated the steelers and look forward to seeing him on a team I at least hate less.

Article says how unhappy he is with his pay. Other top linemen are making much more. Cowher supposedly left, will sit out a year, and come back at double his old salary. Sounds like the Steelers just aren't willing to pay top dollar, and this will catch up to them if its true.

This all started when they passed on Russ Grimm for head coach. It's compounded by the assinine salaries handed out to NFL guards since the Hutchinson deal. Look at the signings, and you'll see that just about none of them made any sense. On top of that, Faneca's better than any of these dopes.

Faneca and Mawai are two former LSU linemen that have had phenominal ability to simingly stay dominate with age.
