Haven't seen it discussed here, so let me be the first to say how appalled I am. I cannot believe that these "Marines" have stooped to this new low. The fact that they didn't pull their pants down, and just take a dump on those dead bastards, really says something. And they call themselves "Marines" hah!!!! Seriously though, I can't believe there is such a backlash regarding this. If charges are brought up on these Marines, who did absolutely nothing wrong, I don't know, I just give up, but fuggit I already have, so I guess it really doesn't matter.
They definitely shouldn't have done it. No question. It was a terrible lapse in judgment. But people need to remember, these guys are 18-21 years old and are directed to kill the enemy and the enemy is trying to kill them. Stuff like this is going to happen when you put together a situation like that. The rules of war aren't as clear cut as the media and politicians make it out to be. There are a lot of other factors including emotion and personal judgment.
Rule One regarding enemy prisoners and enemy dead is to treat them the way you demand your enemies treat our own prisoners and dead.
the enemy is worse people. but we are good people. torture is ok because it is useful. and i dont mind pissing on corpses because they are dead. just do it when nobody is looking if you must. and i understand, maybe those guys killed their friends, its ok. but yunno, no cameras.

How about we just take a piss on their entire country and get our boys back home? You put people in Hell and they are going to commit evil acts.
