I need all the LSU folks to pick ONE thing I need to know about LSU...whether it be related to tailgating,parking,your team,stadium...whatever the hell you want. I landed two seats in 402 at face by the grace this week and need info. We will be staying in New Orleans the night before and I'm jacked about this game beyond belief, even though I feel like it could be ugly. Pepper me with info!
go to the game a fun attitude. when you get tiger baited, take it in stride and with good humor. if you do, you will be welcomed and have a great time. if you get your panties in a wad, you will be made miserable. (ou fans did not seem to be able to grasp this.)
Try not to stay up too late in Nola and head out of there about 7 in the morning to get to B.R. at a decent hour. Bring a pocket poncho too....never know when you will get one of those afternoon pop-up thunderstorms!

Get there early, smile and talk a little fun smack with some of the tailgaters, then drink and eat free (and very well) until game time. But the secret is the smile and fun part - fun accelerates in front of Death Valley.
Wear your colors, make it obvious. And then roam around campus with a good attitude and enjoy the hospitality.

Sounds like you'll do just fine! A smile and a good attitude will get you teased unmercifully (all in good fun) and then fed to the bursting point with food you just can't find outside Louisiana. Have fun and enjoy the game! ldskule:
