i like all of them. i think Blue might be the one that has the best season. but it's like Les said in his presser to kick off the spring, "we're going to need all four of them, i guarantee it"
Provided he doesn't miss too many games this year, Hill will be the best RB in the conference by the end of the season. bama's RBs will take a hit behind the re-structured OL (as will GayJ). No one else has his combination of size & speed. The mere fact that he has Beckham listed ahead of Landry in itself destroys his credibility. And EL-OH-EL @ Jeff Driskel.
Kind of disingenuous to use stats only as the measuring stick considering Hill didn't emerge as the top guy until the mid-point of the season. I don't disagree with the 3rd team assessment, but if not for his stupidity he was going to be the best back in the country. Maybe not award winning because some other guys will probably have better stats by virtue of more carries, but he was going to be the best back based on skill and not just potential, but based on what he could already do. That still might happen, but it's up to the justice system and CLM. I saw more than one early early mock that had him listed as the only 1st round back and as the clear cut best in the country. I do recognize that Yeldon is right there with him but he's not draft eligible. He's a beast though.
He's good, no doubt. But we'll see what he's made of when he doesn't have a 10' wide hole to run through. Of course, he'll still have the "we don't call holding on bama" advantage, so who knows.
Don't discount Hills legal problems, either. These pre-season prognosticators like to have a high success rate and some won't hang their hats on a guy who may not be able to play.
Let's see back to back championships returning a lot of players, easier schedule than any other team in FBS history, don't go out on a limb there Phil Steele.
