I would put Jarvis Landry as a projected 2nd team. I think he is going to blow it up this season. Only 4 players on defense on 4 defensive units? That's absurd.
i haven't heard Jeff Driskel love since CBS put that footage up during the LSU-Florida game last year comparing Driskel to Troy Aikman here's what Gary Danielson said about him before the game: "There is no doubt that Jeff is the breakout player of the SEC this year. There's no mystery. He had to come through for this team. Jeff did come through. We all knew he had great raw talent...The comparison I have in my mind is that Jeff, in his athletic ability, is much like with his arm strength and his leg and his size, like a young Troy Aikman when Troy was transferring and changing from the Oklahoma wishbone to UCLA and brought all those raw skills and learned to play quarterback....He's bigger than I thought he was. He's faster than I thought he was. He seems more comfortable in the pro offense than I thought he would be at such at early time. He just seems to have been able to transition from what he did in high school into this real comfortably." and one Elite 11 counselor compared Jeff Driskel to Troy Aikman and Peyton Manning
PHUCK the pre season let the games get played then lets see how many TIGERS are listed. O yea and PHUCK BAMA too!!
it's tough because they are all so good. here's some of the returning SEC RBs. if you look at YPC, i don't see how you put Hill any higher than 3rd Team if you even put him on the list at all BY RUSHING YARDS 1385 yards (6.24 ypc) -- Todd Gurley (1st Team) 1108 yards (6.33 ypc) -- TJ Yelton (1st Team) 1024 yards (5.00 ypc) -- LaDarius Perkins (2nd Team) 1002 yards (5.86 ypc) -- Tre Mason (2nd Team) 850 yards (4.31 ypc) -- Jeff Scott (4th Team) 808 yards (5.86 ypc) -- Ben Malena (not on the list???) 759 yards (6.49 ypc) -- Keith Marshall (4th Team) 755 yards (5.32 ypc) -- Hill (3rd Team) 669 yards (5.35 ypc) -- Raymond Sanders III (not on the list???) 658 yards (5.48 ypc) -- Marlin Lane, Jr (not on the list???) DNP (sat out as transfer) -- Brandon Williams (3rd Team) recruit BY YPC 759 yards (6.49 ypc -- #1 in SEC last year) -- Keith Marshall (4th Team???) 1108 yards (6.33 ypc) -- TJ Yelton (1st Team) 1385 yards (6.24 ypc) -- Todd Gurley (1st Team) 1002 yards (5.86 ypc) -- Tre Mason (2nd Team) 808 yards (5.86 ypc) -- Ben Malena (not on the list???) 658 yards (5.48 ypc) -- Marlin Lane, Jr (not on the list???) 669 yards (5.35 ypc) -- Raymond Sanders III (not on the list???) 755 yards (5.32 ypc) -- Hill (3rd Team) 1024 yards (5.00 ypc) -- LaDarius Perkins (2nd Team) 850 yards (4.31 ypc) -- Jeff Scott (4th Team) DNP (sat out as transfer) -- Brandon Williams (3rd Team) recruit
I can do it because I actually watched the games and know the only two RB's that compare to Hill is Gurley and Yeldon.
LSU uses RB by committee, some of these other schools don't. If we used a rb like Bama did, we'd probably have a heisman winner
