    ------------------------

Alabama also had the most star-power on Phil Steele's Preseason All-SEC Team, with LSU a close 2nd, and Georgia a close 3rd

Using standard point scoring system of four points for a first teamer, three for a second, two for a third, and one for a fourth:

    38-Alabama
    34-LSU
    29-Georgia
    26-Arkansas
    18-South Carolina
    18-Texas A&M
    18-Florida
    15-Tennessee
    13-Auburn
    10-Mississippi St.
    8-Missouri
    5-Kentucky
    4-Ole Miss
    4-Vanderbilt

On offense only, the top 5 were:
    20-Alabama
    20-Arkansas
    13-Texas A&M
    12-LSU
    10-Tennessee

On defense only, the top 5 were:
    22-LSU
    20-Georgia
    18-Alabama
    13-Florida
    11-South Carolina

Your post and the link do not match at all. Chris Faulk is 2nd team, Sam Montgomery is 1st team, Alex Hurst is 1st team and Brad Wing is 1st team. You also left off a few.

Depends on the month, doesn't it? #2 in November, #1 in January according to my latest math lesson. ;)
