From what I understand they do have an official assigned to every group. Supposedly the official with their group was with Watney. Why that is, I have no idea. The one and only time he needed to be somewhere specific on the course, and he's nowhere to be found.
They only had an official with the last 5 groups. The official doesn't intervene unless he is asked to. Johnson didn't and he paid for it.

Not in a major and besides, I anticipated the Tiger remark so I specifically said the 72nd hole because Tiger never fked that up when in position to win. Thus, his 14 majors to Dustin's zero.
