Woods just three-putted the 14th. That's what hitting it 40 feet from the hole will get you. The only positive thing to say is that Austin and Els are both running out of holes.
Tiger, because of his conservative play, has seen his lead dwindle from three strokes to one stroke. He needs a birdie BAD.
He's making it interesting for the TV audience & ratings. Els just shot himself out of it and Austin doesn't have any birdie holes left. Unless Tiger makes a mental mistake he should win #13.
Things are starting to look up a bit for Tiger. Els just bogied the 16th. That puts him two shots back with two holes to go. Tiger finally hit a decent second shot. He has about 15 feet for a birdie. Not a gimme but better than 40 feet. Austin just hit a great shot down the fairway at #16.
Boy when things start to go right, they start to go right. Tiger birdied the 15th, then hit one down the middle with his driver.
Lesson 1: Dont doubt Tiger. He plays conservative to make things interesting. When they get close, he crushes their dreams and they cry like girls.
