I think this has got to be the game where he overcomes his hiccups in a big playoff game.

And to do it against the best defense in the NFL would be extra special.

I don't think he will come close. I think it will be another one of those games in which he presses and thinks too hard on every play (you know where he audibles over 90 percent of the time). Tone it down a lil Peyton. And maybe, just maybe you can get over the hump.

A divisional playoff game is not a big enough stage to say he overcame his hiccups. He's won those before...

Until he wins a conference championship game he's still a choker.

Yeah but this would be the first one he wins when his team is a road underdog.

And I guess I should have added that the victory would have to catapult him into at least making it to the Super Bowl.

the colts didnt win big, but they look really good. they are way more physical than anyone thought they would be right now. their d has that attitude they have been missing.

Who would have thought neither team would score a TD?

You have to give the best defense in the NFL some credit.

This was a pretty bad game by Peyton. Let's be honest, if Ray Lewis doesn't tip the ball at midfield, Ed Reed runs back an interception back for a 13-12 lead in the middle of the 4th quarter.

He got lucky. He still hasn't proved very much today. In fact he didn't prove anything but that he lowers his game come playoff time.

Manning has 1 td and 5 ints this post-season.....and his qb rating was a big 36 today. I guess he was doing his best Rex Grossman impression today. Luckily the Colts D has risen from the dead this post-season or they would be at home watching the playoffs. I think Peyton is a " head-case " once he gets to the playoffs. I wonder who will he blame this year if they lose? Maybe the coach, he hasn't blamed him yet.

Peyton won't define his career without at least reaching the playoffs.

Odd how Tom Brady and NE has been Manning and Indy's nemisses in the postseason for all of NE's Super Bowl winning seasons and Peyton only getting the better of Brady and Belichick twice (just so happens to the last two times the two teams have played), but Indy and it's fans now find themselves having to do the unthinkable: PULL FOR THE PATRIOTS to beat the Chargers tomorrow.

A New England victory tomorrow gives Indy 2 big things:

1.) A Patriot win over San Diego gives Indy a home game for the AFC title rather than go on the road.

2.) Sets the stage for Peyton to silence all his Playoff critics by advancing to a Super Bowl WHILE doing so against a team that has long been touted as a team Peyton can't beat.
