Addai should have been the MVP in 06 when the Colts won the Super Bowl, he was a rookie and i think either tied or set the record for most receptions in a super bowl.

:geaux: Don't believe he was. Read an article a couple of days ago that quoted Coach Charles Baglio (LSU Football Ops Staff or something like that) saying that Tracy Porter slipped through the cracks and LSU just missed him.

I also thought it was totally classless that Peyton Manning walked off the field and did not shake Drew Brees's hand and congratulate him on his victory. No matter how disappointed he was in losing the game, he should have done that. Kids are taught sportsmanship as soon as they start playing organized sports and I'm sure Peyton was too. Appearantly he failed Sportsmanship 101. Obviously he is a spoiled little bitch and can't stand to lose. Add to that the fact it was the Saints who beat him added a lot of salt to the wound. Still, no excuse for not showing some class. Take the loss like a man and congratulate your opponent on a great win.

What made Peyton's pouting look worse is that from what I've read Drew is a good friend of the Manning family and lives fairly close to Archie. If I'm wrong on this, someone correct me. Sad behavior in any case. I'm also glad the Saints kicked little brother Eli's butt this year too. :LSU231:

I beg to differ. Aikman and Bradshaw set the tone for their teams, as does Manning. Any of the qb's I mentioned would have taken the Colts just as far as Manning did. Taking it a step further, put Payton in his father's place. What would he have done had he played on his father's Saints teams? It's all a bunch of what if's. Personally, Montana was the best I ever saw play. I'm damn glad we were playing against Payton Manning, not Joe Montana.

"nick saban has had a hand in 1 saints championship season" WTF are you talking about? I mean it, WTF???

Addai NEVER got the playing time at LSU that he should have and I don't think his player development improved throughout his college days like they could have. Obviouly, the Colts saw his potential and snagged him. Almost everyone was shocked when the colts drafted him so high. Is this how you think Nick Saban had a hand in the Saints success? Or are you talking about Devery Henderson? He went 18th pick in the 94 draft. He didn't really perform like an 18th pick until a little later in his career.

I really wish people could get off the damn Saban bandwagon. I still hold too much animosity towards him. I probobly should lighten up, but comments like Nick having a hand in the Saints success bothers me.

I think he meant Saban passed on Brees when he was coaching the Dolphins allowing the Saints to get him.

It was a shot at Nick.

If that's the case, my apologies. I didn't read anything about Brees into the post. I should lighten up, I just can't stand Saban. Eventually with all of the "LOOK AT ME" players coming outta highschool, Nick is gonna start a mutiny at Alabama. From what I understand, it's Nick's way or the highway, no matter what. Obviously, pro players won't put up with his Cap'n Bly attitude, and it'll eventually catch up to him at Alabama.

I'm with you. I can't stand that idiot either, but maybe we should thank him because without Saban Brees could very well be a dolphin. Lucky for us Saban has never been able to choose the right quarterback. well, i take that back he has a few times but its rare and its always because of attrition.

    Josh Booty or Rohan Davey
    Marcus Randall or Jamarcus Russell
Cleo Lemon, Joey Harrington, Drew Brees, Duante Cullpepper.
