We can all only hope that we are judged by our most recent days rather than our lives as a while. I know many of here may benefit from such a mentality! Then again, some won't.... :hihi:
I've never been to their stadium, but in this picture, it looks like they have the old style artificial turf. I didn't think anyone used this stuff anymore because of all the devastating knee injuries it seemed to cause. Maybe it's just an effect of the lighting.
Re: Peveto to NW I was married in the restaurant on the end in this picture; it's called The Landing. We rented out the second floor, and we met with the mayor, who had city workers put the Christmas lights on for us, even though it was a week before they normally do so. It was a lovely wedding, and the owner of the restaurant was really cool. We went back a year or two later, and he had us out to his plantation house for brunch. It is a really neat small town, beautiful. And the people there are super-friendly.
Re: Peveto to NW Was Rick the owner then? Small world, thats the "apt" or townhouse I mentioned earlier. I knew the whole crew downstairs in the restaraunt. The courtyard out back is nice. Its been years, but I'd like to go back.
Congrats to him. This is great for the university, in that coaches will continue to see LSU as a great program to coach at and a great place to enhance their careers! Thanks for your help in the BCSCG! GEAUX TIGERS
Re: Peveto to NW Okay, yes, in a room IN the restaurant, though I did have to walk through the main lobby in my wedding dress to get upstairs.
Re: Peveto to NW My confusion came from the idea that you celebrated your most specialist day in an establishment which sells food, you don't like, on purpose! Happy for Peveto. Thanks for the memories. :thumb: Kind of weird but the dude freaked my wife out pretty bad. The primary reason we did not move to BR in the spring. Now it is time to reconsider.
