    but in the process he said that Mallory and ole Bradley Dale are out and about recruiting, etc...

    Not something "lame ducks" would be doing, I don't think.

    Bonus? Like money? Their only bonus should be able to say they coached for LSU.

    If Mallory stays as a position coach, and BDP moves to HC at someplace like NLU, why not? BDP won't be competing for LSU recruits, he makes some more contacts, etc.

    If he were being looked at for a BCS job, I'd say you have something there.

    That's what I think will happen. I don't think Miles will throw 2 guys who helped him win a National Championship under the bus. A similar situation happened at Texas. Year before last the Texas DC left and Mack Brown promoted the defensive backfield coach to DC. Didn't work out, so Muschamp was brought in as DC, and Akina went back to defensive backfield coach. Worked out pretty good.

    Just guessin here but I suspect the guy in charge of the defense after the Florida game, at least on the practice field, was Les Miles.

    But then again, what the hell do I know.

    I can assure you Miles was not running the defense at any point in the season.

    I do not see him remaining as DC. Perhaps as a position coach, but he really needs to be fired.
