    Don't know why in the world they would do that...he's an unsigned true freshman so he should be entitled to all the inside information that nobody else knows. :rolleye33:

    Shepard isn't privy to any info about the coaching staff. He made a best guess. It happens to be wrong.

    Les Miles is keeping this close to the vest, and not surprisingly.

    Peveto is by most accounts, not a leading contender for that job, so I fail to see how his application reflects on Miles keeping him in the same position. I doubt Miles told him he could stay if he couldn't find another job.

    I don't usually put much stock in Dandy Don's comments but he made an interesting point. If the coaches are fired/resign before the bowl game, they don't get what could be a significant bonus for going to the bowl game.

    I suppose Miles could work something out with who he wants and bring them in after. But I admit I was under the impression he would do it before the bowl game. I think he stated changes being made before?

    As to Shepard's comments, that is a puzzle. But if the entire LSU organization is closed mouth about what is going on, why would they tell a recruit and allow him to blab it to the press? That doesn't seem likely to me.
