I hate the Falcons, so I couldn't care less that he did this. But when you have the perspective of a former coach and what it did to them as people, it almost unforgivable. However, I'm not sure how this 'ruined lives' like Zimmer says. IIRC, the entire staff was retained for the remainder of the year. And given the NFL wage scale, its a pretty safe bet to say that all of them were well compensated until other jobs came along, which I would venture to say all of them have now.
