He's such a chicken sh*t and a coward....He's a poor man's Nick Saban in that you can never trust anything the man says. However, having said all of that, I was listening to an interview with him on my way home from work today (around 4:45pm EST) and he didn't mention anything about quitting--then again, the interview was just a replay from last night's post-game interview. Furthermore, dispite thinking that he's a liar and a coward and a man of no moral character, I WILL say that the Falcons job is quite possibly the WORST situation in all of pro football. ...that team/organization has been a 3-ring circus all year long!
I never would have thought he would quit. The Falcons are a mess and it will be several years before they are a playoff team again. It's upper managements fault they had all their eggs in one basket...Mike Vic. I can't blame Petrino for leaving.
and all that bull**** last night about Redman getting another chance b/c Petrino hooked him up. Petrino is football's Pitino.
Bingo. He just comes across to me as a smarmy bastid going back to the way he tried to cut the rug out from under Tubby; not that I'm a Tubby fan in the least. Kinda gives new meaning to 'when the going get's tough, the tough get going'. Somehow, I don't think this is what they in mind when that saying was created.
yeah...tough call. winless or the face of your franchise a disgrace, your coach bolts, your owner is being questioned about certain remarks, ...i could probably go on. I'll just be glad Im a Saints fan
I was ranting a few weeks ago about how cool it would be for LSU to snag an active NFL head coach in Del Rio, and that it would probly be a first. If Petrino does go to Arkysaw will it be a first for a college team to hire an active NFL head coach?
