The only reason I originally donated to TF was to keep the site running. I think I gave $100 the first year when we were cash strapped. I didnt donate for anything other than that and I dont care if all the forums are free. I will still pay to keep the site up and running. I voted yes but I should have voted no. I think all college topics should just remain in the Den like they did for so long. Even an SEC forum doesnt address the topics we post about ND, USC, etc. Will those still get moved to the total sports forum? We dont have moderation consistency on this issue and it is the root of our confusion. Not to take a jab at Grad but he already stated that all Bama topics get moved by him but it doesnt look like the others do. Other than Red, Grad & Okie I dont know who else moderates. I like them all but you need to be on the same page. The easy solution would be to leave the Den like it was, let us post anything about college topics in the Den and there is no need for another forum. I think the forum distribution is fine like it is. I personally dont want to sift through a bunch of other forums. Even if the Den wasnt originally meant for other school banter it was being used for it and was working fine until random stuff started getting moved.
Again, yes. And I miss lsutiga, but I never had any problems with him. There may be cliques on TF, and that's not really a problem, but I don't want to exclude too many folks because the different personalities are what make this an interesting place to visit.
Not surprising. You've run several of the good posters off when it was available because they were rivals.
Do I still embarrass you and your university? If not, then let me know. I don't want to let you down.
I have a hunch that you and your friend that we met are in a clique.. a drunken clique of tiger fans that gets together regularly on Saturdays in the fall. :thumb:
I voted No. TF's is a LSU site. We can discuss, in the Den, anything SEC that concerns LSU. If someone wants general SEC talk, there are plenty of SEC forums available elsewhere. Rival posters have been regulars here for years. The one's that have been ran off needed to be...same with the LSU "fans" that have been ran off also.
