I also vote for a free SEC sports forum or to at least leave it in the den since it was NOT hurting anything.

every forum free would suck. Could you imagine the complete retards that the politcs forum would draw. That is dificult to follow as it is. Add a ton more users and it would be crazy.

the MODs will have to do double duty in this newly created forum, no doubt.

if you don't like what you see, it's your free will not to go there.

Ultimately if TF wanted to have a SEC discussion forum in the "free" section, it would take all of 60 seconds to create the forum and assign the appropriate permissions so everyone could post in it. The VBulletin admincp is as easy to work as typing a message on your keyboard. But it won't happen because in "their" eyes it'll disuade people from giving away money.
These types of web forums are not expensive to run, servers are cheap, domains are paid for usually by numerous years, and the Vb software is around $100. The only thing that costs money are having the hacks installedand skin designs (if you don't know how to do it) but their not hard to figure out either.
Just my .02 worth of dribble.

Against. You're right - poorly worded. It's an LSU forum. I like that.

this is great conversation, and I have my ideas on it as well. I can confirm what Grad has said about some ideas being tossed about. I remember the days of lore (2003) when all things SEC were discussed in the Den. With a busy site, and contributors, it always seems you cannot please everybody everytime with what you are trying to do. Trust me when I say this topic has been heard, is being discussed, and I think you might see some changes on the horizon.

Thank you guys and gals for making this forum what it is...without all of you this would be a pretty boring place!

And I vote that they are real for Salma.

The current version is not so disruptive. Which is fine by us.
