I knew that but hadn't really thought about it. I wonder if they did with other races as well. I can't say I've read one way or another.

One of the recurring commercials on the On Demand channel is the movie with Brad Pitt about the wall. I don't know the story line--it's a movie I'll watch ...sometime, maybe--but if he's a slave in the movie, and they indeed did castrate white slaves, we can chalk that one up to another movie that's not historically accurate. You know damn well there will be some love story angle in the movie. (Not that we should be surprised.)

 

Hmmmm, it would be difficult to get the love on without one's junk......(all the love scenes would have to be in the beginning of the movie...)
