Here's the history of the LSU name. I'm sure we all know this story but for those who don't.

Eerily familiar right? At least Robespierre ended up in the same place he sent so many though.

 

I have absolutely no respect for people who want to remove anything having to do with the civil war. The civil war is part of our history. Today is not Yesterday, and "they" are not "us". Whining bullshit is all this is. Just another asshole who needed his ass torn up when he was a kid but didn't get it.

 

I don't defend it. It goes too far. If a tiger had been a unique symbol to the Confederacy, used now as part of pro-Confederate propaganda, they'd have a point. But they don't.

Black athletes go for free and my white ass had to pay through the nose, how is that racists? Somebody has been smoking some bad stuff!!!

 

Bc your white slave owner lineage wasnt athletic enough. The spoils of generations of hard work.
