So uh... What's this I hear on the radio about Deangelo Peterson walking around on crutches with a heavily taped ankle?? Anyone got anything on that?
D. Peterson is supposed to be right up there among our most dominant weapons, sucks to have to be without him.
Nah, it's pretty significant update and so it deserves it's own thread, so thanks for starting that. :thumb:
don't sweat it, i did the same thing earlier, and deleted the thread. what i am hearing is that it's a sprain, they are giving 2-4 weeks, if it was broken, it would be a hell of alot longer. Those ankle sprains, you just never can tell, remember Matt Flynn in 07 with the "high ankle sprain".
Still hearing simple fracture with a 2-3 week timeline from Randle's brother. Miles will likely address it tonight.
You're gonna tailgate through the pain this year right? But on a serious note, this is a big loss at least for the time being. If we can have him back for the meat of conference play that'd be great. We don't necessarily NEED him until then, but he is figuring to be a big component to our offense this year so obviously it'd be nice to have him out there. Hope he can recover quickly.
I tore the ligaments in my ankle in high school, walked on it too early when I got bored of sitting around, and never could play competitive tennis again. I tripped over a freaking stuffed animal while making my bed, which was the ridiculous part. I hope D. Peterson will be all right, but I have to admit when I first read the stuff about 'Peterson' on another site, I almost got sick when I thought it was the other Peterson (won't mention his full name because I don't want any gris gris).
