I think that LSU is a better team when Flynn is running the offense...I don't mind RP coming in once in a while, but Flynn is the leader of this team and he deserves to get most of the snaps.
Run the option pass. With RP in the secondary will be forced to respect the threat to the corner. Flynn can get there quick also.. but I see RP in and think "run". Let him throw slants.. let him throw bombs and let him run. I'd like to see him every 3 series or so. We owe him as much.
I think a perfect play is RP tossing to rock back to Doucet and let RP fly for the pass. Happened with MF earlier in the season. :thumb:
I say this DOESN'T say it all. It says they have 10 plays "scripted" for RP...but RP already knows the whole playbook...or he wouldn't have done so well in the SECCG. Looks like LSU coachspeak to me. You know they aren't going to actually say what they're gonna do the day before the game.:nope:
I think we'll see more of him than they're letting on, to be honest. He didn't see the field much because he was in the doghouse, but after how well he played in the SEC title game I'd be shocked if they don't get him in there to create some matchup problems.
I just think of the Ill. QB running about 10 draws in a row and think of what RP could do against osu. But the key is for him to have a nice mix of run and pass. Clearly osu was afraid of the Ill. QB throwing the ball. Surely Crowton and Miles will agree with an expert like myself. Geaux Tigers!
