.. i know flynn is the starter, etc etc etc, but personally i hope RP gets a goodly number of snaps, and not just to run off tackle. In my heart, i think RP's athleticism and arm strength will make him more effective against tOSU's stud defense than Matt Flynn will be. If Flynn is ineffective, i hope the LSU coaches aren't reticent about putting RP in for good.
First of all, nice use of the word reticent. We don't use that word quite enough around here. I would like to see it used more often. To address your concern, I would be shocked and somewhat dissappointed that Perrilloux was used only to run the option.
If he is needed for full time duty I think we are in trouble. I hope I am wrong. I agree if he is used we should take advantager of all his skills not just his running ability.

I really think RP is the X factor in this game. He can present a lot of problems for the OSU defense. Im not saying he should play start to finish but he needs to be put in the game in certain situations. OSU is very very good against straight up power offenses aka (BIG TEN style) RP will give a completely different look and cause some confusion. Illionis has a QB a lot like RP.
I keep hearing that Flynn's shoulder is not 100%, nothing from anyone I would bet the house on but enough to make me think the rumor may have legs. I think either way the coaching staff has been giving RP extra reps getting him ready for extended playing time just in case. I have a feeling we will see a heavy dose of RP both running and throwing. JMO
