Just saw it on FoxSports Southwest.. they did a phone interview with the kid and they asked him directly about LSU.. he said that he is watching LSU alot closer because of the current QB situation, and "if anything changes at Texas, LSU will be my first phone call"... if Randall earns the starting spot and rumors persist about Mack Brown.. then things could get interesting

It would be nice if we had a #3 qb and could put a shirt on RP while JR and MF use up another year. Both of these guys should be around for a Senior year. I am sure RP would like to play as soon as possible. Just wonder how much patience he has. That is one reason ED went to LSU as receiver.

Sounds like a great reason to give Randall the keys to the car...

I saw another RP video this afternoon and I want this kid to come to BR more than ever.

Its gonna come down to, if the UT coaching staff remains in tact, IMO. Wouldn't count out Coach Saban's closing skills though.

It would be great to land RP, but like others have said before LSU will win with him or without him so I'm not going to cry if we don't land him.

Looks like Perrilloux has perfected "the waffle"....

Have to admit I liked his interview on CTSD today...

...the kid seems intelligent AND level-headed...

I still say Nick puts the sell on RP and gets 'em...

...once Mack is shown the door....

    Perrilloux will be a Tiger

Don't believe any of the other sources ... don't believe me

This kid bleeds P&G and he isn't headed to Texas ... but they sold him early ... we'll sell him the goods last ...

He's sharper than Russell but not as smart as Flynn ... he has mobility Russell never dreamed of ... and he needs to hear Saban and Jimbo tell him they believe in him to come and take the starting job away with better talent

When he hears it ... he will come ... He truly loves LSU ... & never denied it

Of my 20+ years of looking at HS film and evaluating QB talent ... this kid is the best QB prospect ever to consider LSU ... and it ain't close ... he's even better than Rohan Davey and David Kelley ... and certainly better than Russell and Flynn

and with the kid's 4.5 speed, size, and above all ... the most important of all

INSTINCTIVE ABILITY AND POISE IN THE POCKET ... he's a winner who will develop faster than expected and pick up the system at LSU very quickly ... a projected late starter in 2005 after a good fall practice and some back up play early.

I haven't seen this type of confidence and ability in a QB so young and raw ... this kid will get so much better it's fuggin' scary ...

THIS RECRUIT IS A "DO OR DIE" for "THE PROGRAM" and LSU's NC hopes in the late 2000's.

Do or Die ... LSU must obtain the services of this Champ

You guys never heard me rave in here about Russell ... yeah, I watched the film on him since he was in tenth grade ... great arm ... I still like Flynn better than Russell ... you're starting to see some of the negative side on Russell ... I'm not gonna tell you, "I told you so". Russell's got the arm, but that's only a third of the equation

Great Arm ... Football Playbook Smarts within a system ... Versatility & Mobility ... Intangibles (Heart, spirit)

I see Flynn strong in 3/4 qualities ... Russell, not even that many :dis:

Perrilloux is the total package ... and he knows it

    C
    A
    N

    Y
    O
    U

    I
    M
    A
    G
    I
    N
    E

This kid leading a high octane offense to match an unbeatable Dee ... LSU FB will really be something special ...

LSU FB now is missing one key ingredient ... a truly great QB to spark this team and put 30+ points on the board every game against any Dee

LSU is missing a Ryan Perrilloux ... and Nick Saban is gonna set things right

I totally agree on the film - haven't seen much better film on many kids. Then again, Barrington Edwards and Lavelle Hawkins had some of the most impressive videos I've ever seen...

I want to keep a prospect this great here at home - Peyton, Eli, Berlin, JD Booty, etc. will all escape my memory if we can land RP - I know that we will be fine without him, but IMO we will be nothing short of GREAT with him...

Also, why isn't he looking at OU?

Even if he doesn't commit, I still feel good with Russell...
