That amounts to fake, since it wasn't HIS id and he was trying to conceal his true identity, therefore, it was a fake id. I just hope he has learned his lesson and matured enough to lead our "damn strong" football team.
who hasnt tried to sneak in a bar when they were younger? now the fight was his bad . he should not have been involved. all RP needs is a psx 3 and an xbox 360 with an hd tv,dvd player, tons of movies(no porn) and someone from TF to shodow his ass 24/7. i think he will have a great year. besides the ineterceptions i never saw him lose yards.
No porn??? That's just cruel. Though I'm sure the starting QB at LSU has less use for porn than your typical student.
A lot of the people who have posted here aren't even paying attention to the facts, so much so that it discourages me from having too much interest in responding here (although I'd ideally like to eventually). But on a different note, I just came across a book you can read on Google Books called Game of My Life: Memorable Moments of Tigers Football (2006) by Marty Mule, where the author points out that: During the off-season before his sophomore season (1996), Faulk was involved in a altercation outside of a bar in his hometown of Carencro, LA. Faulk was charged with FOUR misdemeanor counts -- including two counts of battery on a police officer. In response, Coach Dinardo kicked Faulk off the team. Days before the Houston game at the beginning of the 1996 season, the charges were dropped and Faulk was reinstated to the Tiger team. Who here remembers Faulk's off-the-field problems? Most here think Faulk is an all time LSU hero (and I agree). Who here didn't think Faulk was a team leader at any time during his time at LSU?
The internet has contributed to people being judged one way or the other, a lot more so than the days of Faulk when people didnt know or care as much.
No - we know the facts. Our differences lie in how much we CARE about the facts. You say you are UNCONCERNED that our 2008/9 season is in the hands of a young man who has shown a propensity to let his testosterone override his brain. Others of us ARE concerned because we know leadership is more than what you do with the pads on. We all agree on the facts. You just don't agree that the facts matter. Secondly, DiNardo kicked Faulk off the team. 'Nuff said. This is exactly what we don't want to happen. The fact that the charges were dropped and Faulk was reinstated does not negate the first sentence in this paragraph. Honestly, I have faith that RP is smart enough to know what lies ahead of him and what kind of man his head coach seems to be. I have faith he'll realize, far better than you seem to realize, that how he handles himself off the field has significant financial implications for his future and maybe even the future of his teammates. And I have faith he cares about his teammates as well. Condescending, but you asked for it - in no less than 2000 words....
