That may be, but he updated his top teams after that...So something obviously has changed...

His teammate and friend is pretty high on LSU and is visiting for the Tenn. game, so if he came down for that game they could have a 'magical' moment. Also, I believe he's been quoted as saying he's looking for a big time QB to play for...we do have some big time QB talent for the next few years. Also, by the time he gets here, we'll likely have had a couple more WRs drafted..which not only opens up some spots, but increases the profile of LSU putting kids in the league. He wants to go to a high profile, NFL producing school.

Stranger things have happened.... Loaded, yes, but this #1 WR isn't suiting up for us in '05 and the depth chart for '06 shapes up like this:

    Bowe-Sr.
    Davis-Sr.
    Early-Jr.
    X-Man-Jr.
    Amp-Jr.
    Lafell-RS-Fresh/?Soph.?

HARDLY as deep as we'd like to believe.... If Harvin wants to go to a high-octane offense, on a team that should be another championship-caliber team, and be "the guy" as early as his Soph. season, with a good shot at contributing as a Freshman, then LSU WOULD fit him well.

    These things happen in spurts...

3-4 commit one year when they are experienced at the position, then no one commits the next year, b/c of the "YOUTH" and great competition...

with the large # of Jrs and Srs on our WR core..., we will sign quite a few WRs and RBs in the coming years probably... as evidence in us getting 2 RBs already this year...
