I said I would jump ship if this would happen at LSU and I got "you are being to harsh on LSU" Sorry but children will always come first over football in my book.

I'll ask the same question of you -- what if it happened at Iowa?

The coverup is going to get much worse. They should start by checking McQueary's bank records.

I don't think the death penalty for this is appropriate at any school, based on the current flow of information. However, I'm getting the feeling this ain't over by a long shot....

I do know heads would roll at Iowa... and that appears to be happening here.

I'll get the link and add it, but an article in Business Insider says Sandusky resigned in 1999, a year after he was questioned by police (but not indicted) for sexually abusing a boy.

If true, JoePa's whole story about the little information he got in the 2002 incident and how he handled it... is pure b.s.

Hawker -- thanks for your answer. I agree that the death penalty is not appropriate. Heads would roll here for sure, and I certainly would not be happy with how it was dealt with (or not).

The death penalty is also unnecessary. That program is already going to be radioactive for the better part of a decade.

It's looking more and more like the incestuous nature of the Penn State program is one of the reasons this situation occurred. Little to no outsiders. Everyone in the program has roots from Joepa. It's a very closed program in a rural community closed to outsiders and protected by everyone.
