Obviously there needs to be an in depth investigation as we all know there will be, on many fronts.

That said, if the currently available information is accurate, shouldn't Penn State get the NCAA death penalty?

SMU got it for covering up the fact that boosters paid thousands of dollars to athletes.

It appears Penn State has been engaged in not only covering up a child rapist but allowed him to continue to use the athletic department as his own personal child rape den. If there was ever a case of lack of institutional control this is it.

The NCAA should ban Penn State from participating in any athletic activities until the house has been cleaned.

The ncaa should not but penn state should close down its program for a year to clean house. If they don't then they will lose a lot of respect and be in for many down years.

You're just hoping they get the death penalty so Saban doesn't go coach there.

Would you expect... or demand... the death penalty if this happened at LSU?

    .... just wondering...

No, the NCAA needs to sticks to infractions of it's own rules. Let the police handle criminal cases. Let the university handle its own programs.

Agreed. This is a completely baseless assertion. This is a criminal issue not related to competitive advantages. It should be and will be handled by the police without any NCAA involvement.

Absolutely, couldn't agree more. A corrupt organization investigating a corrupt organization- yeah, we need more of that.

I don't know if you're joking or not.

This Saban to Penn state crap is baseless. Saban isn't leaving Alabama. He screwed up once leaving LSU he's not going to make the same mistake again.
