I think they go outside. They may be able to lure a big name guy if they pay the money. If not a lot of good coaches out there waiting for a chance to prove themselves.
Personally due to the stories about the showers. I would burn down the athletic facility and rebuild the entire thing. Seriously if you are football player and knowing what took place could you go in there ? No the bring the entire thing down. No coach worth his salt will take that job. Saban I was confident would have jumped at it but not now. that program will take years and years to get rid of the stigma. Very sad actually.
That's a no-brainer. They will clean house, not only with the football program, but all the way up thru the entire athletic department.
If you were the parent of a recruit, would you let him take a trip to Penn State if they had essentially the same coaches minus Joe Pa?
This will hurt recruiting for a while for sure. I had to laugh, when the press was trying to find McQueary for comments on Sunday, the press was told that he was out on a recruiting trip. Who the hell would want him in their house this past Sunday after this story broke on Saturday?
For 9 years, this loser of a human being was allowed to retain an office right across from the athletic department, even as of last week. Joe Pa, the AD, many others high in the chain of command knew what transpired in 2002 and chose to ignore it. The message sent was "whatever you do in your own time is your business, just don't do that shyt here on campus ever again". I can only imagine it was a case of Joe Pa protecting his old friend Sandusky. Being together for 40 years and the friendship they forged must have outweighed what was the moral and right thing to do in this instance. It's sad and tragic beyond belief. How many more kids were molested since 2002? The number isn't zero, I can tell you that much. The lawsuits alone could set back Penn State athletics back into the stone ages. I hope it does. Joe Pa should be fired immediately. To allow him on that field Saturday vs Nebraska would be a travesty. The AD and Mike McCreary fired just the same. Others on administrative leave until they find out the depth and breath of this situation.
