Is anyone else utterly depressed at the thought of him returning as HC? I welcomed his departure as his defense was no longer working in the SEC. Watching him at Nebraska, with his meltdowns and all, and lack of winning big games, is not inspiring confidence either. He's not known to be the strongest recruiter (I could be wrong). Ultimately success in college depends upon assistants...see Gene Chizik, Mack Brown, etc. But still, I have to ask, is this really the best we can do? Why would he leave Nebraska, esp with them moving to the Big 10?
I wouldn't mind a little more fire on the sideline but he has been known to be over the top a bit. I think he may have learned to tone it down some because there was an incident this year that he was called on the carpet about. He kept poking his finger into the chest of Taylor Martinez, who had just dam near just broke his leg. He walked away from Martinez for a second and then jumps right back in his face for more. I don't see him being our guy but we don't even know if we'll need one so hold the horses. :thumb:
All the negatigers will get what they wished for and find out that it wasn't so bad under Miles after all...

I heard this the other day up here in big 12 country and didn't put it together until the thread broke here. Pelini (from the talk show nuts here) is trying to get fired at Nebraska. Supposedly he wants out. They never said anything about him coming to LSU nor any other job just that he wanted out of Neb. I like Bo but he has been acting like an ass and I would not want him as the HC at LSU. You can put me down as first on the list for we were better with CLM.
First I hope there is no need to hire, but it is not looking good. Second, that is one of things I was referencing. It also "seems" his tenure in Nebraska is wearing thin on both sides...not good. I would tend to think there would be a lot of interest from up and coming coaches. I could totally be okay with the return of Jimbo, and him keeping Chavis etc.
Did you not watch the TAMU game? The Big 12 CG? He's an idiot. Can you imagine how he'd react to JJ and Lee? Dude's carotid artery would burst right there in the middle of TS...blood all over...scaring the churdren. I don't want him. Other reasons... Chavis. Bo ain't keeping him. He'll bring his brother on board. Recruiting. Bo don't know recruiting. Embarassing. To me, he's as embarassing on the sidelines as Mike Stoops, and probably even worse. His little fits he throws, everytime I've seen him do it, he was dead wrong. He acts like an ass. What about the offense? We have Chavis for the D. If we have to replace Les, bring in an offensive guy that runs a style conducive to the players we have. The current group we have is ready NOW to compete for championships.
No dout! Who wouldn't want to takeover the team/program we have. On another note, Stanford's pursuing Peterson. I would love to see what that guy could do with our offense. Bo knows! Well we sure wouldn't want a coach that would embarrass us...would we?
