I know those rumors are out there and don't know if they're true, but if so I can think of nothing more asinine. LSU is an NFL pipeline; if you're good enough to start here, the Sunday guys are watching you. If LSU players are half-assing it as a statement against the coach, its on tape for the scouts to see. They are costing themselves huge amounts of money. Celtics legend Red Auerbach wrote in his autobiography that before a NBA Finals game 7, he told a notoriously quiet member of the team to give the pregame talk. The guy didn't say a word; he picked up a chalkboard and wrote, "We win, $500 each (the title bonus at the time). We lose, $250 each." Auerbach called it the best pregame talk he'd ever "heard," and maybe that's the kind of talk some of these kids need right now.
I’m not sure how much was injury and how much discontent but Stingley was not himself the second half.
I was just about to ask if this complete lack of effort on d is a Ryan Clark effect with his blm shtick before the season began. Something is amiss. And these fellas are tuned the f out. I said the same. They look like they're throwing the game. I've never seen that before.
Now I'm glad the storm knocked out my cable and I didn't see the game. I did listen on the radio though
