After reading what the players think about Bo coaching in the NC game I have changed my mind. If any group of players and coaches can pull this off it is this team. I hope he and Nebraska decides he can. It would definitely benefit all parties.

“He knows my character; he knows what I’m about,” Herbstreit said of Miles. “For me to go on the air and talk about something, he knows I have a very good feeling about what I’m reporting.”

NOTE TO HERBIE: Just how arrogant are you ? When reporting "facts", absolutely no one cares about how you feel about what you are reporting. Let me educate you. If you have a "feeling" about something, thats called an opinion. If you know something to be true, thats called a fact. Got it ?

After removing all of the egg from his face, let's hope that Herbie lives up to this last sentence in the article.

Herbie doesn't seem too apologetic to me. Sounds like he's saying LSU and Miles are lying, that they did not in fact have a deal worked out last Friday night, that Les declared he was staying at LSU on Saturday only in response to Herbie's Pulitzer-Prize-worthy reporting.

    Herbie's a punk.

Listen to this audio interview between Herbie and a Michigan sports radio show:

What's ridiculous about all this is that it's no ones business when a coach, his agent and school is negotiating. I've always found it very offensive when anyone reports something that has not been released yet. If everyone from the media were held accountable for fictitious reports and were fired when caught we would have no one reporting the news. What a business of prostitutes. I still like Beano Cooke the best.

wow, amazing what we think we hear, isn't it?

We can make this a lot worse than it is, but it will take a concentrated effort... this is a good start, though....

Miles, his agent and LSU have said there was no contract talk between the two parties and that he was never "about" to go to michigan. So it's not a matter of "what we think we hear", he is definitely saying that Miles and LSU are lying.

It also means he is calling the michigan AD a liar.
Didn't talk to Miles or his agent so how was there a michigan contract in the works? Who was negotiating the contract if not Miles or his agent?
