Nebraska's Bo Pelini says the QB for this weekend is a gametime decision. The junior starter has been unproductive and was pulled last week in favor of a FRESHMAN. Here's betting the guy was more productive than our current starter. Hopefully LM will read the story and come to his senses. Sticking with J 'They're Disrespecting Us ' J looks dumber every week. ldskule:
You think Nebraska's freshman was more productive than JJ? Nebraska had their @$$es pasted by Texas Tech. Give me a break.
Pelini also had a pretty strong message to the fans that are calling for Green to be the starting quarterback over Lee. During Saturday's game Lee was booed by some Husker fans, while Green received a loud ovation when he replaced him at quarterback. "The fans can say anything they want," Pelini said. "When they earn the title of head coach they can make the decisions. Until then, I'll make the decisions around here, along with Coach Watson and the rest of this coaching staff. They can boo me, they can say whatever the heck they want. They can choose to boo, they can do what they want, but we are going to do what we feel is necessary to win football games, period. End of story. "I don't get influenced by what the fans or the media or anybody else thinks. When they want to come in here and watch the film and they earn the title and they earn the respect of being a head coach, then they can start making decisions. Until then, the buck stops here."
My point, Stacey, is that Neb.'s junior starter is better than JJ yet was pulled in the TTU game because he was ineffective. Yes, Neb's quarterback is better than Jefferson if you believe stats. Zac Lee is the nation's 34 ranked QB (rating 141.8), JJ is 54 with a rating of 133.4. The passing offense for Neb. is ranked 59, while LSU's is 107 ( out of 120). And remember, Neb. doesn't have a 5 star receiver corps. Just saying.
