But does he "really" know something, or does he just think he knows something?

God that would be great to see an aggressive defense again. Not knocking Pelini at all, but an aggressive defense really utilizes our speed and physical strength. I hope we do get Tenuta.

I guess I'm glad Pelini is staying on. He means a hell of a lot our guys. I just hope he can focus on the task at hand and doesn't get too distracted.

That's huge. The Tigers will go into the NC with its full slate of coaches.

Im pretty pumped about this, I just want him to come with a game plan that will terrorize Oh St.

I want the quarterback on the run the first play, like we did to Brady Queer in the Sugar Bowl.:LSU231: :milesmic:

Looks like I'm the only one thinking this way, so flame on if you want.

I don't really think this is that great of an idea to let Bo coach this game. Over the next month he isn't going to have his mind 100% on beating tOSU. He's gonna be having to take time to get his Coaching staff together as well as any other public appearances and "glad handing" he will need to do for Nebraska. Plus there is one thing that Lou Holtz said (probly only thing he said all year that made since), He doesn't have to be around the next day if we blow it.

I don't like the alternative, which would be to hurry up and hire a DC and learn some new wrinkles and possibly an entirely different philosophy in just 30 days. That would be a trainwreck waiting to happen.

I'll take a distracted Pelini over that. I think it will work out fine.

You mean to tell me that there is nobody under Bo that knows the system he has in place now? Maybe someone that could be a little more aggressive with the defensive playcalling. If not, that's really not good coaching staff managment.

You almost changed my opinion completely. I agree with the the New DC/ new philoshopy part.

My thing is- "can't be in two places". He has a great new job that he should be focused on 100% and we have a shot at the title that we need to be 100% focused on.

Don't get me wrong, I really like CBP. The D has been great under him. I just think its best for ERRYBODY involved.

First of all that makes very little sense. The Tiger "D" will not blow this game, so just get that one out of your head. Pelini is a class guy, I'm sure the "D" guys had some input on this as well. He's been their coach for all this time and had he not wanted to do this I'm quite sure he wouldn't have. I mean cmon, if he went into this game and did screw it up, what would the Neb faithful think? This was more of an "honor" thing, for all the work he's done up to this point. Don't be like the ESPN buttheads and spin things out of context.
