Nebraska has always been good to LSU. 5 baseball championships and now permission for Bo to coach in the NC game. Classy people!

no offense to your beloved Osborne, but I know for a fact, permission wouldn't have been granted to formally talk to Bo, unless it was understood that he stick around for the bowl.

That is part of why Osborne was so sneaky about getting permission in the 1st place.

Maybe you're right, maybe you're way off base. It doesn't really matter. Osborne saw it as beneficial for both programs -- when it happened doen't really matter does it? :thumb:

This puts an exclamation mark on the wonderful team chemistry we have this year. I'm guessing the state of Nebraska is pulling for our Tigers in the NC. I don't think many other AD's would let this happen. Dr. Osborne's class, integrity and experience makes this decision possible. Not to mention it gives his new coach NC game experience. A Win/Win for both fine institutions. I hope LSU invites Dr. Osborne to the game.

Geaux Huskers! Geaux Tigers! :crystal: :thumb:

I remember a few bowl games when they weren't too nice to us; at least on the field they weren't.

    agreed.

P.S. who do you guys want on the staff? O-Coordinator, etc..

Bo isn't much of a recruiter.

For about a 10 year stretch LSU was the only team we could beat in a Bowl game. Thanks  !

Also, at the time, Osborne was not the legend he is today. The joke was "Why did Tom's Mom serve his cereal on a plate? Because if she put it in a bowl he'd loose it!"

Three NC later.. he is Tom Legend. Winning helps that. Hopefully for the folks in LA and all LSU fans, you get it this year!

I am always willing to cheer for a team that is going to put a whipping on one of the Little 11. I mean seriously for a conference that brags about academic excellence they can't even count to 11.

Now though the entire State of Nebraska (and our fans around the country) are all LSU fans! Good luck to you and your team. Bo need to finish what he started and help you win a NC...then he can come help us get back on the road to one of our own.
